*NOTE ON MLA HELP RESOURCES: The Modern Language Association released a new version of the MLA Handbook (9th edition) in summer of 2021.

This page is still "under construction" to reflect the changes, but luckily the MLA did not make substantial changes to the rules for this edition. Most of the new book is additional helpful examples of existing rules.
