Dear Students & Parents,

We hope that you are all staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.  Counselors will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm through email and School Loop.  Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and/or concerns.

During this time that you are away from school, it will be important to keep a routine while you are at home. Here are some helpful things you can do:

  • Set a schedule and get dressed everyday. Structured days with regular mealtimes and bedtimes are an essential part of being healthy.

  • Stay connected. Social distancing is important, but it is also important to remain connected to others. You can have phone conversations, text, write emails, play board games, spend time with pets, and reach out to friends and family via facetime, google hangouts, or any other video platform.

  • Be mindful of media intake. Social media and the news can be overwhelming. It may be helpful to spend some time away from social media and/or the news each day.

  • Stay active. Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise each day. Some additional activities may include: drawing, coloring, journaling, listening to music, reading a book.
